

Everyone loves the idea of breaking old habits and starting new routines but not many know how to accomplish the change.
Let’s learn an exercise here that will teach you how you can change an old habit in 30 days.
First of all draw or print a 30 days calendar for keeping a track of what you will be doing.
On the top of the calendar, mention the change that you want to accomplish. On the side of the calendar, mention why you want to accomplish and what are the outcomes to intend to see.
Start with one challenge you want to overcome. Make sure of getting rid of that old habit before introducing a new one in order not to overwhelm yourself with the pressure of doing a lot. However, if you can handle more than one — go for it!
Now you have to decide what is the new habit you would like to create?
Do you want to start exercising, meditating, getting up early, eating healthier?
Do you want to declutter your home?
Do you want to declutter your work space?
Whatever that new habit you would like to create, make sure that you do it for 30 days in a row.
Make a strict rule of going to the start point if you miss a day.
Make a promise to put a big X mark every day on the calendar once you have accomplished the task of that day.
Enjoy that feeling of accomplishment you will get while putting that X mark.
Whenever your mind tries to talk you into procrastinating the task, remind yourself of the feeling that you get while putting that big X mark on your calendar at the end of the day.
Look at those pretty X marks that you have put day after day.
Tell yourself that you are unstoppable.
Nothing can stop you. Not even your own mind.
Commit to yourself to see at least 30 X marks on that calendar.
You can make use of some affirmations to keep you going for 30 days. Repeat these affirmations as many times as you want for the next 30 days.
Write it on the side where you have put the calendar on your wall.
Below are few examples:
If you are trying to change your relationship with money and manifest more money in future, then Say – Money comes to me effortlessly and easily every day and in every way. I deserve to always have more than enough money.
If you are trying to exercise more because you have not been feeling 100% healthy physically, then Say – I am in perfect physical health. I have never felt better in my life. I am strong. I am energetic.
There are thousands of affirmations you can find online. But my suggestion is that you make your own affirmations as those will feel real.
Keep your calendar somewhere that you can see it.
On your refrigerator, near the wall next to your bed or wherever you can see it most of the day.
So give this simple exercise a try! Garnish it with a tinge of determination and will power.
Remember that these 30 days are merely a drop in the long life that you have ahead of you.
