Embark on a New Journey with Law of Attraction

While I was in the learning phase of Law of Attraction, trying to get hold of every book under the roof written on the subject, one question kept intriguing me: “How do I put all of what I have learned to practical use”. Once I had gathered enough knowledge about it, I became curious to know how to apply these principles to “create the life of my dreams”. Similarly, the followers of my blog (not more than a meagre number of 24) are also struggling with this burning question. So, instead of my planned post of “How to communicate our desires to Universe via thoughts”, I decided to write this post that will give you a fair idea of how you can start applying Law of Attraction to your daily life and manifest miracles everyday  

Easy steps to apply LOA in your daily life

If you follow these steps, I can guarantee you will start seeing changes right away because these are the steps that I have personally experienced:

1) Focus on all good things in your life

If you have ever read self-development books or articles, you must have heard about how counting your blessings and focussing on good things in your life help in erasing negativity and letting in more positivity. We have a habit of always complaining about unfulfilled dreams, broken relationships, not having enough money, health issues, family issues; the list is endless. Thinking about one unfavourable issue leads to a chain of negative thoughts which make us feel worse. When we start focusing on good things in our life on a daily basis, we will realise how much we have been given and how much we have taken for granted.  

So, start with maintaining a gratitude journal and everyday write 10 things that are going good in your life and you are grateful for. This practice will help you to shift your focus from problems to all that has been bestowed upon you which in turn will give way to more positivity in our life.

2) Make a list of your desires

Make a list of all your desires – small or big, short term or long term, possible or impossible. You may call it your Desire List or Dream List or Wish list or Goals for Life – whatever you want to name it. Try to include every small detail about your desire in this list. For example: If your desire is to buy a house, then mention where you want to have this house, how many rooms you want, how big your kitchen should be, what colour of walls you want, what type of furniture you want, what kind of neighbourhood you dream to live in, price of the house and all the other details about your dream house. These details will add feelings to your desires and you will feel energized and motivated

One important point to remember here is to write all your desires and dreams in present tense as if you have already achieved them. Such as: I am buying a house in Bangalore. I am getting a job in a multinational company. I am going on a world tour and so on.

So, what are you waiting for? Just grab the pen and paint your dream life, and fill as many colours as you want to.

3) Visualize your desires

Once you are done with your desire list, set aside at least 10 minutes daily — be it in the morning, in the afternoon or at night before you go to bed – whenever you feel comfortable. Sit comfortably and visualize each of your desire for at least one minute. Feel the same emotions that you would feel if they were to come true. By consciously visioning your dreams and putting emotions into them, we raise our vibrations for that desire. Vibrations is the language that Universe understands. We convey our thoughts, beliefs and desires to the Universe through our vibrations (We will talk about that in later blogs). For now, all we have to do is put emotions and feelings into our dreams and visualize them and act as if they are already fulfilled. Make a habit of doing this visualizing exercise daily. By daily visiting your desire list, you are following a strong principle of LOA, which is “Focus on what you want”, Therefore, by daily focusing on your desires, you are conveying a strong message to Universe to deliver them.

4) Stop Complaining. Start Complimenting

We are programmed from our childhood in such a manner that we focus on what’s wrong instead of appreciating what’s right. This leads to never ending complaints about the government, infrastructure, traffic, hiked prices, bosses, colleagues, spouses, neighbours, health issues and the list goes on and on. Since LOA is always in action and very faithful, it keeps bringing forth more instances where you can complain more. So, utilizing the principle of “Like attracts Like”, start converting all your complaints into compliments and I guarantee that you will attract unlimited instances where you will only compliment and there will be no place for complains. Start by complimenting your spouse, your kids, your neighbour, the security guard of the building, your office boy, secretary, boss, colleagues, the guy at the coffee shop, the waiters, the drivers and all those people who serve us tirelessly and whom we are happy to ignore.

5) Always Wear a Smile

Always wear a happy face. Have a firm belief in LOA and Universe. Assume that all your desires are already fulfilled. Be happy. Be in the receiving mode and receive your desires happily and joyfully. By always keeping a smile on your face (or most of the times), you will feel relaxed and less tired. You will feel excited about the future and that will keep you motivated. Watch funny movies, read jokes, turn off the new channels that talk only about negative news, be around the people who talk good things, stay away from ones who are negative. Give out good vibes and attract more such people in your life.
